JUDGE KETANJI BROWN JACKSON ART – THE RESISTANCE IS FEMALE

New Orleans, Louisiana – March 15, 2022 – The process of freedom has always been about patience. The roles women played in the fight for freedom were equal to men when the barriers were removed by men or torn-down by women.

Ketanji – A Supreme Lioness is newly-created tribute artwork on display during Women’s History Month.

“Here we are again. Women leading the fight for freedom for those underserved citizens. Ketanji – A Supreme Lioness is tribute artwork to the first African-American woman soon-to-be confirmed as an associate justice on The Supreme Court of the United States,” says Paul Baidoa, a self-taught digital artist and the creator of the artwork.

The artist is an African-American Vietnam War-Era veteran who experienced the “Whites Only” segregation in the South and the “Go back to Africa” hate speak in the North in his youth.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, if confirmed, will join Supreme Court justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan to hold the line for the left as the majority conservative court moves to take away abortion rights for women, voting rights for Blacks and Latinos and sensible gun laws.

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee will begin confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on March 21, 2022. (Update – March 25, 2022: confirmation hearings completed)

The Ketanji – A Supreme Lioness tribute artwork has two designs that are visible on the website listed below:
